This is a rare opportunity for a Senior Legal Counsel to join a market-leading automotive business based within their growing team in Buckinghamshire.

In the last 4 years, the company's revenue has increased from £900million to £3 billion and they are looking to recruit in line with their rapid growth. This company own some of the UK's main online vehicle purchasing companies, and its brand is well-regarded in the automotive space.

The company

This business has an impressive UK/international presence, focusing on automotive manufacturing and distribution. They have offices/sites in almost every major city in the UK, and are considered industry leaders in the automotive space. You will be taking on a mixture of Corporate & Commercial responsbilities, including; M&A, private equity and IPOs, commercial contracts and a mixture of general commercial tasks.

The variety of work on offer makes this an exciting opportunity for the successful Senior Legal Counsel. This company have a great track record of employing lawyers from Top 100 Law firms and well-experienced legal counsels.

The business has a very desirable client base, including international luxury vehicle companies, automobile manufacturers, sports teams and TV/Radio conglomerates. Their client relationships span the globe, allowing their in-house lawyers excellent exposure to HNW/UHNW work.

The role

This company is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to take the lead on all matters Corporate & Commercial in their Buckinghamshire office.

You will be working closely with the wider team of legal counsels and other stakeholders throughout the business, dealing with a broad variety of corporate & commercial matters and a mixed bag of commercial responsibilities. You will also be working across the company's wider portfolio, including well-known top automobile brands, sports teams, television/radio and much more.

The work on offer includes corporate M&A, private equity and IPO's, stakeholder management, commercial contracts and much more. You will be taking a lead role on all commercial & corporate matters, regularly liaising with the CEO/CFO and other legal professionals within the wider team.

Requirements

  • You will be a solicitor of 7+ PQE with a background in Corporate & Commercial Law
  • You will have a strong sense of Commercial acumen
  • You will have the ability to work proactively within a team and have the ability to also work autonomously when required
