The Role

This firm is looking to hire a solicitor in Commercial Litigation with around 4 years PQE to join its successful Tier 1 City of London team.

Opportunities to join Tier 1 ranked team such as this are extremely rare - with few firms offering work of this level of quality.

This position offers a varied caseload with the primary emphasis on arbitration. The work is of the highest quality - usually reserved for the largest City firms.

You will be handling complicated and large-scale matters, often with a cross-border or international element. Previous experience of cross border matters will therefore be advantageous.

The type of contentious work you will be undertaking will involve anything from shareholder claims to professional negligence and fraud. The team is increasingly undertaking contentious construction and marine matters.

You will be given the opportunity to lead on advocacy, both written and oral. The firm boasts an illustrious client list made up of businesses, banks and financial institutions, ultra-high net worth individuals and educational establishments.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales with 4 years PQE
  • Knowledge of international arbitration
  • Efficient communication and ability to manage a complex workload
  • Experience in reputation management
