The Role:
This Top 100 UK law firm is seeking a Charity/Commercial Property Solicitor with 3+ years PQE to join its City of London office.
You will be joining a highly regarded team that advises 8 Church of England dioceses as well as numerous other charitable clients.
You will gain exposure to a wide variety of high-quality property transactions including charity property disposals and acquisitions, commercial leases and assisting with major development projects among other unusual and interesting instructions.
This role comes with exciting client exposure, encompassing leading the relationship with a key diocesan client.
You will provide advice spanning a range of legal matters such as property, charity and trust law.
The department aims to provide excellent value to its client base while continuing to forge a reputation as the go-to firm in the ecclesiastical and charity markets.
The Housing sub-team sits within the wider 21-strong litigation team and there are very solid prospects for progression as the Housing team has grown rapidly in the last 5 years.
Working alongside, partners that are recognised as sector leaders in the Legal 500 and Chambers, you will gain valuable insight and knowledge. This will enable to progress your career with greater clarity, speed and direction.
There is possibility to join at either the Associate or Senior Associate level, depending on your level of experience.
Requirements:
- England and Wales qualified solicitor with 3+ years PQE
- Experience in charity/property law is essential
- Able communicator with a client focus
- Good work ethic and a commercial mindset
