Senior Counsel – Independent Investment Manager

This UK based independent investment manager has a very open, collaborative culture and a global reach.  A vacancy has arisen for a switched on and commercially minded lawyer to take on a key role in the close knit, well regarded legal team.  You broad remit will cover funds, investment management, regulatory, derivatives and general commercial work.  This will suit someone keen to expand their skillset and take on a generalist legal role.

With at least 4 years’ pqe you will be client focused and keen to really get to know the business.  As this is such a varied role they are happy to consider candidates from funds, institutional investment management, FS regulatory or derivatives/trading backgrounds.  What is key is the willingness to keep learning, a good grounding in related areas and a real interest the asset management sector.  You will be a pragmatic team player with the communication skills to influence stakeholders in the business and the drive to get things done.
