**US FIRM** Restructuring and Insolvency Associate 1-4PQE

A growing US law firm are looking to hire a Restructuring and Insolvency associate to join their team in London. The firm can offer an excellent remuneration package, a more agreeable work/life balance than most US firms and the chance to join a small, close-knit team with a growing footprint in the City.

The R&I team currently has two Partners and two associates in their London office who work closely with the firm's R&I teams based in Europe and the US. The team work with a broad range of clients including bond holder companies, creditors, sponsors, insolvent companies, administrators and liquidators advising on company voluntary arrangements, prepacks, distressed lending, restructuring plans and schemes of arrangement. The work itself is rewarding and challenging offering the successful candidate a large degree of Partner and client contact which will enable the new joiner to grow their own practice long-term. The work itself is predominately non-contentious in nature but the successful applicant will be exposed to advising on contentious matters aswell.

The firm are looking for an individual with a minimum of one year of post-qualification experience, ideally in London but would be open to considering those with post-qualification experience at a leading regional firm. A strong academic record is a prerequisite to be considered.
