Corporate/M&A Knowledge Lawyer

THE ROLE

Opportunity for an experienced Corporate/M&A Knowledge Lawyer, or an experienced Corporate/M&A lawyer looking to move away from a traditional fee earning role, to join as a Knowledge Lawyer for the Corporate Group.

You will support the UK Corporate practice active in a broad range of transactional and governance matters, including private M&A, private equity and public company work.

The role will combine traditional Knowledge Lawyer responsibilities with a willingness to adopt and lead on legal technology and innovation.

As the sole Knowledge Lawyer for Corporate, you will have considerable scope to develop the role and provide strategic input around the development of the Know How function for the Group.

While this is a full time role the firm is open to exploring flexible working patterns.

THE CANDIDATE

An experienced Knowledge Lawyer, 6pqe+ used to operating at a senior level, but fee earners, with at least 6 years' experience looking to make the transition into a support role will also be considered.

* Broad experience of corporate and company law (including private and public M&A) with indepth knowledge of the Companies Act 2006 and corporate transactions.

* A commercial awareness and enthusiasm about business development and the ability to digest, analyse and succinctly communicate complex issues with clarity to both internal and external clients.

* A proactive individual who can identify opportunities and produce content to ensure the team's strong market presence.

* The successful applicant will be able to manage demanding workloads with strict deadlines and possess strong project management skills.
