Job Details
An award-winning silver circle law firm are seeking a Funds Knowledge Paralegal to join them on a 12-month FTC in London.
The Firm:
With a market-leading and award-winning funds practise, they are renowned for fund formation, secondaries, and fundraising work, representing general partners and managers for private equity funds as well as sponsors for investment companies and private debt funds.
The Role:
Providing high quality, comprehensive support to the Funds Knowledge Team. In addition to ad hoc administrative tasks, your key responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring various sources for legal and regulatory developments in Funds.
- Maintaining the department know-how resources.
- Undertaking legal research tasks for the team.
- Drafting simple Funds precedents and processing technical updates.
- Compiling internal data from client work.
- Assisting with corporate IT projects.
- Opportunities to learn about Funds Law and Practice.
- Opportunity to assist in fee earning work if desired.
About You:
- You will need strong academics including LLB or law degree or equivalent qualification
- Previous transactional Paralegal experience in either Corporate, Funds or Finance.
- Genuine interest in Funds law.
