The Role:

You will join a highly ranked Construction team as a Associate in the firm's Leeds office.

You will join the firm's Construction team in their internationally renowned department. You'll work alongside industry-leading Partners who will expose you to a rare quality of caseload.

The firm commands a long list of high-value Corporate and Individual clients from across the globe, so you will have the opportunity to expand your own network.

The firm is unrivalled in the size and breadth of clients, covering a variety of funders, developers, contractors and sub-contractors. Project sectors include mixed use developments, housing developments, energy and renewables (a key growth area for the department), infrastructure, retail and office development to make for a very interesting role.

You will work on a range of non-litigated matters such as the drafting and negotiation of construction contracts, initial procurement and strategic advice on risks following completion.

As part of a growing team, you will be given the tools and investment to fast track your career in a firm known for promoting internally. You can expect a clear progression path from day one and support from highly regarded partners to develop your ability and confidence.

You will also receive an attractive remuneration package and a good level of flexibility (typically 3 days from home).

Requirements:

  • As a guide, this role would suit a Construction Solicitor with 1+ PQE
  • Experience across all forms of construction disputes
  • Able to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Have a desire to push your career forward and progress
