Commercial Litigation & Insolvency (3yrs+) – British Virgin Islands

We are working closely with a top flight offshore firm keen to locate a capable, ambitious litigator with circa 3-4yrs experience for its expanding BVI practice. Applicants will need to be England & Wales qualified and hail from leading international law firm or recognised commercial / chancery chambers.

The work our client handles spans complex high-value corporate and commercial disputes, which are frequently multi-jurisdictional in nature, plus access to financial services and investment funds litigation, civil fraud & asset tracing, enforcement, trusts litigation as well as big ticket insolvency & restructuring work.

Working within a small team the successful applicant will receive hands on supervision and training from senior lawyers, while also benefitting from immediate responsibility and direct contact with clients and onshore counsel. There will also be ample opportunity to get on your feet and develop your advocacy experience.

A very competitive financial / benefits package is offered (attracting only an 8% payroll tax) + relocation assistance. Further, it must be noted that on average the BVI is c20% cheaper to live than Cayman or Bermuda while the actual work is arguably of a better standard / higher profile.
