The Bermuda office of this global offshore firm is currently seeking to hire an additional corporate lawyer with between 6 - 8 years' PQE. You will need to have gained your training and experience at a major regional, national, international firm in either the UK, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa or Canada, and have a strong academic record. The work will involve advising both public and private clients on a varied and broad range of matters including domestic and cross border mergers and acquisitions, takeovers, corporate finance, equity and debt offerings, private placements, schemes of arrangement and corporate restructurings. Clients include global financial institutions, investment funds, private equity houses, multinational corporations, public organisations, sovereign wealth funds and high net worth individuals.

All the islands (a) have English as their main language and (b) have a very friendly, lively and cosmopolitan expat community (circa 50% of the population in Bermuda, BVI and Cayman are expats drawn from every corner of the globe), which makes settling into island life much easier. In addition, no exams are necessary to get admitted and practise in Cayman, BVI or Bermuda.
