Senior Legal Counsel • Global IT Business (Public Sector clients)

We are recruiting on behalf of a highly successful global IT business whose legal team is seeking to hire an experienced legal counsel with experience is working with the UK's Public Sector organisations.

The role can be performed fully remotely from any UK location if you prefer to be home based.
Alternatively you can come to the offices in London from time to time.

New Role - Senior Lawyer to lead legal support to the Public Sector segment

You will lead on complex bids, tenders, contract negotiations and drafting with a mix of clients including major UK's Public Sector organisations as well as Private Sector companies.

You will work closely with the business teams, management and the company's legal, business and other teams around the world. You will support major projects such as IT outsourcing deals, IT & data licensing, data storage, software/App development, robotics, systems integration, platform infrastructure development, bids / procurement of IT managed services, data security, cloud services, IoT, SaaS, AI, and R&D projects.

There is an opportunity to manage direct reports (junior to mid level lawyers) or to work as an individual contributor if you wish.

Requirements

• 6-15 PQE lawyer / legal counsel, ideally with technology sector experience
• Experience in supporting the Public Sector's bids and tenders (either working for a vendor or client)
• Ideally trained in private practice
• Eligible to work in the UK
