IP PSL - City Firm

Well known and popular City firm is recruiting for an IP PSL (Professional Support Lawyer) to join its Intellectual Property department in London.

The department acts for clients on all IP rights matters, with a particular focus on IP protection and enforcement. The team is well known for its work in the entertainment, media, fashion, luxury, betting and gaming and life sciences sectors. They have a truly enviable client list, acting for many household names.

This role will suit either an existing IP PSL looking for a new opportunity, or an IP Associate with the right experience, who is looking to transition into a Knowledge role.

Responsibilities will include: thought leadership (including looking at ways to use technology to service clients and assist the practice group); training of the fee earner population; development and maintenance of precedents and knowledge; assistance with market research and pitches and so on. 

This person will be working alongside the Head PSL of the Contentious department groups, the Head of IP and other PSLs across the firm. 

To apply, you must be a UK qualified lawyer with at least years 4 PQE in contentious soft-IP from a well regarded law firm. Previous PSL experience is useful but not essential. Good academics and strong interpersonal skills are a must.
