New! - our client are a full-service and Chambers-rated Legal 200 firm who are growing rapidly and looking to appoint an experienced Client Funds Executive to their expanding team based in the Thames Valley. This is a unique opportunity to join a market leading firm at an exciting stage of their growth with genuine scope to progress within the role into a broader SRA / Compliance Management position.
The successful individual will be responsible for performing plausibility checks on source of funds to comply with regulatory guidelines and the firms client-funds policy. You will be required to review information from multiple sources to ensure complete and consistent information across the client profile and liaise with lawyers where additional information or clarification is required.
The ideal individual will have excellent attention-to-detail and be responsible for accurately recording information, assessments and documents within the case management system. Prior knowledge of client funds handling is essential.
Skills and qualifications
The successful individual will be able to demonstrate the following attributes / experience:
· Exceptional customer service skills.
· Knowledge of company accounts, pensions, investments and trusts.
· Awareness of cryptocurrency.
· Familiar with bank statements, transfers, foreign currency (and restrictions) and following trails of money.
· Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
· Strong attention to detail and understanding of AML policies and procedures
Accountability
You will be accountable to the Finance Partner (or such other Director/Partner as may be designated from time to time). You are accountable to the Managing Partner for your quality of work and actions to the partnership as a whole for your work on behalf of the firm.
