Soft IP Solicitor

Leading European IP boutique is searching for a collaborative and commercially aware lawyer to join its high-quality soft IP practice.

Recognised for its constructive and business-oriented approach, the team work closely with the firm’s PATMA practice for a range of clients, predominantly in the hospitality, cosmetics, social media, retail, and food and beverage sectors on trade mark, patent, design and copyright cases, as well as licensing and a variety of other IP-related disputes. The practice regularly handle complex, multi-jurisdictional trade mark disputes before the UK and EU Courts.

The team is searching for a junior to senior-level lawyer to join an expanding, innovative and successful team, servicing an exciting variety of clients and acting on matters across different IP rights, technologies and commercial contexts. The hire can also expect work on non-IP contentious issues, such as those relating to consumer law.

Key requirements breakdown:

• England and Wales qualification, minimum 2 years PQE;

• Experience of contentious soft IP litigation before the IPEC, High Court or Patents Court (designs);

• Postgraduate Diploma in IP Law and Practice;

• Commitment to developing strong working relationships with clients and colleagues.
