THE ROLE:
Are you looking to take on more responsibility within your role as an Agriculture Partner? In need of a new challenge which pushes you to your limit but the rewards afterwards make it all worthwhile? Stuck in a rut in your current firm and nothing you do or say is making any difference? The agriculture department of this leading law firm is currently experiencing an exciting growth phase and they are keen to appoint a Senior Agriculture Solicitor who can continue to spearhead the team into the next stage of growth within the agricultural sector. The firm are looking for Senior Agriculture Solicitors to take on the responsibility of handling their own fee earning caseload as well as mentor and supervise a team of solicitors, associates and other members of the team. As the appointed Agriculture Partner you can expect to deal with a high quality caseload of sales and purchases of farms and farmland, agricultural tenancies, the transfers of farming businesses and sales of farmlands to developers.
THE CANDIDATE:
With a minimum of 7 years’ experience you will be academically and technically sound and possess a strong reputation within this area of law. As the appointed Agriculture Partner you will have a strong network of contacts who are able to instruct you on future matters. You will be able to demonstrate your strategic and operational thinking and provide flexibility within this high level and rewarding position. You can be expected to be constantly challenged by the wide ranging nature of the work – there will never be a dull moment. This role will suit an entrepreneurial and pro-active spirit who is keen to drive the business forward along with making your mark and developing the profile of the firm and department as a whole in the Midlands market.
