Job Details
The Firm:
This full-service law firm are renowned in multiple sectors, with over 500 lawyers and their personal approach, they provide a refreshing alternative to a traditional law firm. The team is in charge of handling all aspects of new client on-boarding including CDD and conflicts checks for the entire firm.
Your New Role:
You will be responsible for all aspects of new business intake and AML checking. Duties will include but not limited to:
- Carrying out conflict searches assisting Partners and fee earners with submitted data.
- Reviewing risk assessments, identifying potential conflict or AML issues, and escalating those matters.
- Conducting client PEP searches.
- Preforming sanction screenings against HM Treasury.
- Handling complex CDD issues
- Assisting with general compliance training for new analysts and personnel.
About You:
- You must have at least 1-2 years’ Compliance experience from a Law Firm.
- Speak Business fluent in Russian.
- Ideally Law degree or equivalent qualification but not essential.
- Interest in AML and counter-terrorist financing work.
