The property litigation team in Birmingham act for corporate occupiers, developers, insurers, and commercial and residential landlords and tenants across various sectors including agriculture, sport, charities and social enterprise, life sciences, education, insurance, energy, retail, hospitality and leisure, roads, rail and transport sectors.

The property litigation team in Birmingham has been going from strength to strength in recent years, forming an integral part of the firm’s national property litigation practice operating across their seven offices, acting for clients throughout the UK and overseas. Due to continued success and strategic growth, they are now seeking to bolster their offering to clients with the addition of an associate or senior associate in Birmingham between two and six years PQE.

The property litigation team in Birmingham undertake broad, challenging, and high-calibre property litigation matters, running cases through the Valuation Tribunal, Upper Tribunal, County Courts, High Courts, and Court of Appeal. The successful associate or senior associate joining this property litigation team in Birmingham will enjoy a caseload consisting of forfeiture, title indemnity insurance, lease renewal, agricultural tenancies, rent reviews, dilapidations, restrictive covenants, trespass and boundary disputes, adverse possession, rights of way, ADR, arbitration, expert determination, and mediation.

This position is ideally suited to candidates with a minimum of two years’ PQE, however the firm are more concerned with finding the right person fit to join this supportive, ambitious, and sociable team. Candidates will ideally have gained experience in property litigation post-qualification, however candidates from broader litigation backgrounds with interest and enthusiasm for property litigation work are welcome and encouraged to apply.
