Chances are, if you are reading this, one of three things has happened. Either (1) you are a banking solicitor; or (2) you are a solicitor but not in banking but interested in the area or (3) you clicked on the link accidentally.

You will most likely know that a transactional banking role for a large national practice will include a broad mix of leveraged, corporate and real estate finance and you will have a sense of what that means work wise.

The banking team in Manchester is small but sits as part of a larger national practice so size does not denote weakness or presence in the market. On the contrary. What it does mean is an opportunity to make an impact and work closely with a lead partner cutting your teeth on some really good quality work.

It isn't unfortunately a re-train role per se. There is a pre-requisite of exposure to transactional banking - whether in your training contract, prior paralegal experience or in your existing role.

It is a great firm to work for and there are many reasons for that. Too many too bore in the body of this advert.
