In-House Solicitor

Market leading UK and international food manufacturer Sofina Foods, whose consumer brands include Young's Seafood, seeks a talented in-house Legal Counsel to complement its highly regarded, integral legal team, based in either North Yorkshire or Lincolnshire - with some flexibility to work from home.

Reporting to the Group Legal Director for Europe, you will be welcomed into a legal team and wider company who share knowledge in a supportive environment, allowing all individuals to develop, grow and reach their full potential.

This role will provide core legal and contractual support to the purchasing and sales teams, as well as assisting with dispute resolution, but there will be opportunity to turn your hand to other legal areas with team support, when needed. It is likely to suit commercially minded and versatile candidates with a demonstrable desire to work in-house.

With an emphasis on team values, positively and a "can do" attitude, you will be encouraged to immerse yourself in the business so as to offer astute advice to colleagues. This is a great opportunity to get under the skin of the business and to learn about how industry works. You will need to react quickly and effectively in this dynamic and exciting business, in a commercially pragmatic and creative way. The legal team will support you in your in-house journey, and will also be keen to learn from you.
