Job Details
The Construction and Engineering team at this London-based firm comprises of 18 partners and other fee earners. The team is one of the largest in the UK and provides both transactional, risk management and disputes support. The team is part of the Real Estate Division.
The work of the group is hugely varied with a particular focus on the built environment, energy and infrastructure. Although much of the work is generated from within the construction group itself, the team works closely with the Infrastructure, Projects and Energy (IPE) and Real Estate teams. In London, the team has a particular focus on projects in hotels and leisure, food and drink, real estate development, and energy projects.
We are looking for a Construction lawyer to join the team to work predominantly on non-contentious matters in the energy sector. This role is at the heart of the firm's growth strategy; focussing on global infrastructure and energy projects. The successful candidate can expect opportunities to hone business development skills and to work collaboratively with projects and energy lawyers in the IPE team.
You will handle your own matters (with supervision) and assist the Partners on more complex matters. We have a strong reputation for providing Associates with early levels of responsibility within a supportive, stretching environment.
