An exciting opportunity has arisen for an entrepreneurially minded corporate lawyer to join an exciting and ambitious FTSE 250 global fast-paced business.
You will be leading, advising and supporting on the delivery of the International M&A, International joint ventures and new market entries. In addition, you will work on a broad range of corporate & commercial matters including Finance & Treasury, Franchise Agreements, CoSec, Reward and Compliance. In doing so you'll advise and influence internal partners and provide ongoing advice. The role has great exposure to and has high visibility with key internal partners. You will work collaboratively and cross-functionally with a broad range of colleagues and teams. You will manage and develop junior lawyer(s) within the team.
The successful applicant will have at least 6 years' PQE with significant corporate, M&A, joint venture experience, transaction and project management experience. Broad drafting experience including drafting without precedent is essential. Ideally you will have also completed an in-house secondment or currently be working in-house.
You will have the desire to learn, take on new projects, broaden your legal and commercial knowledge and experience. You'll be commercially astute with good general financial awareness. You must be enthusiastic, proactive, enjoy working hard and being challenged, and demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations. You will be able to work in a team environment and become an integral part of the legal team.
