Senior Charities Lawyer

Our client is keen to recruit an experienced Charities Lawyer to join their dynamic and fast-growing National Charity Legal Services team, based in their Southampton office.

The team work alongside an impressive list of high-profile national charities, making this an exceptional opportunity if you wish to further your career in this specialist area.

Within this role, you will focus on supporting charity clients to unlock additional charity contributions to optimise their income and achieve their goals. With the opportunity to adopt an existing caseload, you will also be able to expand your existing client relationships as well as develop new ones. The team is a cross discipline National Charities Legal Services team, providing a range of tailored advisory services including dispute resolution, commercial contracts, employment, data protection, and more.

They also devote a lot of time to support and encourage personal development, this includes client secondments.

In order to be considered for this role, you will have at least 5 years' PQE with solid post qualification experience as a genuine specialist with charity clients, as well as running your own caseload. Having the confidence to independently handle complex matters with some support from partners and senior lawyers is essential. Due to previous experience, you will be accustomed to supervising and supporting the development of junior fee earners, therefore you will be positive and enthusiastic in sharing your knowledge with your team.
