IT Procurement Lawyer (Contract)

An experienced technology lawyer is required to cover a maternity leave on a 12 month contract at this highly regarded insurance company, starting next year.  Covering the EMEA region, you will act as the lead lawyer in relation to all procurement and IT matters to include buyer side contracts and IT and SaaS agreements. You will work closely with the Head of Legal Operations but should be skilled enough to work on a self-sufficient basis on most matters dealing with the Head of Procurement and Head of IT. You will be part of a larger commercial legal team but running with the largest contracts, looking after key platforms and dealing with negotiations.

Financial services and insurance experience is not required although would be a benefit.  You should have good experience from being previously embedded in an in-house role although excellent private practice applicants will be considered. Hybrid, and largely remote working will be available, and with several offices around the UK, applicants are not required to be London based.
