THE ROLE
We have a new opportunity for a Solicitor c 7+ PQE to join this Charity as an Assistant Company Secretary on a FTC basis
The post holder will be responsible for handling the full range of Company Secretarial duties :-
Advising on legal and regulatory implications affecting the operations of the Charity and subsidiaries.
Corporate governance, review of governing documents, record keeping management systems, timetabling, appointments and resignations of Directors.
Managing entries on public registers of charities and the Charity Commission website
Organisation of meetings.
Providing full secretariat support, taking minutes, liaising with Chairperson on final minutes and actions.
THE CANDIDATE
You will be a qualified Solicitor with a Company Secretarial background
You will also have experience of handling statutory and regulatory compliance within a similar role of a large complex organisation.
Individuals with a background in the charities sector would be of particular interest
