Our client is looking to add a Property Lawyer to the in-house legal team. This position would be best suited to an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor with a proven track record gained in a reputable law firm or In-house Legal Team.

In this position you will provide legal advice relating to the properties occupied by the business which supports all its Group subsidiaries and parent companies.

Based in London this company has a hybrid working policy but would want candidates who would be willing to go into the office one day per week. The opportunity to go in the office more that one day a week should you wish is available.

The successful candidate will:

  • Manage and oversee a large portfolio of leasehold properties - including negotiation and completion of leases, lease renewals and extension, surrenders, assignments and rent reviews
  • Negotiate and draft legal documents relating to the premises
  • Be the first point of contact and manage external counsel relationships
  • Support the role of Head of Legal in respect of the delivery of other legal services
  • Have excellent commercial and business outlook to their work
  • Be able to point to strong communication skills
  • Be a UK Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with at least 4 years post-qualification experience in Commercial Property law
Our client envisages that candidates with at least 4 years PQE will have the relevant skills / knowledge for this position, however this has been given as an approximate guide for applicants and our client is happy to consider the applications of candidates who fall outside of this PQE range but who have the relevant experience.
