So, the starting point here is an assumption. The assumption being that you have commercial contracts experience whether in house or private practice. If that assumption is correct then we'll try to focus on why this role could be of interest to you.

There is a modest leaning towards financial services clients and the team have a strong roster of mainstream and challenger banks. It is only a leaning and broader clients make up some household name clients in the retail space as well as some large infrastructure clients. The point is, it is a team with a good client list and some really interesting work.

Secondly, the current team structure. At present there is significant work coming in the doors. A blessing but also a curse as it does inhibit the capacity for the lead partner to develop things further. It is principally the reason that the primary focus is on getting a commercial lawyer (whether with tech of fintech experience) that would have the capacity to deal with the day to day with relatively minimal supervision.
