About the Company

This leading international retailer has an opportunity for a senior commercial lawyer to join the UK business and provide wide ranging legal support and advice to its group of high street brands.

About the Opportunity

As a senior commercial lawyer for this business, you will lead on complex, business critical contracts relating to tech and digital, SaaS, marketing, media and e-commerce. You will lead on matters relating to procurement and you will work closely with the marketing team on branding, promotional and pricing matters. This is a varied position and in addition, you will provide key commercial legal advice to the three brands, working closely with senior management. You will also be responsible for leading and mentoring other members of the team.

About You

The position will suit an individual who enjoys variety, who has experience leading on key commercial negotiations relating to tech, digital and media and who has a keen interest in the retail and consumer sectors. General corporate and commercial experience is key with broader experience relating to tech and consumer matters also being key. Marketing experience would also be useful. Any management experience will be well-utilised. The role will suit an individual who enjoys fostering strong working relationships and who can do so in a highly commercial, international business.

This is a unique opportunity to join a consumer-led retail group in a key role for the business and a new role within the legal team.
