Pembury Legal is delighted to be working with a Top 5 international firm who is seeking a Senior Conflicts Lawyer to join their team either in London on a remote basis from anywhere in the world! This unique opportunity will working closely with the Head of Business Acceptance and advising the firm and its global offices on a range of interesting and complex conflicts issues. It will also involve monitoring changes in practice, professional rules, regulations and the law as affects business acceptance globally so that these can be reflected in the business acceptance process. assisting in managing the day-to-day operations of the team in relation to: team members' performance reviews; development of the analyst team’s regulatory expertise and work type experience; monitoring adequate staff cover; day to day performance in terms of quality of service, fulfillment of the team's role as set out above and its speed of turnaround. The successful candidate will also participate in strategic projects and will be part of the horizon-scanning team, inputting into the strategic direction of the firm's regulation. As such, applicants should have at least 5 years of conflicts experience at a leading international firm with management/senior-level duties. Please note, the working pattern of this role is Sunday to Thursday (with Friday and Saturday off) and the new recruit will should ideally be working GMT hours (or close to as possible) as it reports into their London office.
