Our client is a world leading model agency and we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced paralegal / lawyer to join the team in London.

This exciting role reports directly to the Agency Director and group General Counsel. You will be responsible for providing legal services to the business on a broad range of matters, working closely with external counsel as necessary.

The role also covers all HR related admin and will be the first point of contact for staff regarding employment queries, commercial contracts, model contracts and any other legal queries which arise.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Supporting the GC and keeping them informed of key contracting and employment matters;
• Assisting Agents with model and client contracts including any queries on terms;
• Maintaining template agreements;
• Drafting and negotiating a range of commercial contracts;
• Supporting the finance function where required;
• Liaising with external legal counsel where required;
• Working with the data protection team;
• Liaising with insurance brokers;
• HR related admin, including managing holiday requests, staff absences, company benefits and recruitment of new staff.

We are looking for someone with a commercial approach who is an outstanding communicator and used to working in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will have strong drafting and negotiation skills, with significant commercial experience in a law firm or in house role. Ideally you will also have HR / office manager experience.
