The Role
1 to 5PQE Regulatory Lawyer to join international Top 50 firm in Bristol
A national team of 30 led by industry leaders, they advise both insurers and corporates with respect to investigations and prosecutions by the Police, HSE, the Environment Agency, CQC and Local Authorities; dealing in all aspects.
With a broad diet, you'll provide input on matters both contentious and non-contentious across health and safety incident investigations, interviews under caution, prosecutions, environmental breaches, breaches of trading standards, food law and fire safety - a real agnostic mix, developing niches are you mature, with overall increasing team prevalence in environmental matters.
Given their stature, the work is more often high-profile, with media attention drawn to the incidences in question. Encouraging close client contact, you'll aid in business development, whilst training those more junior.
Requirements
- NQ+ PQE gained within a commercial regulatory environment, no PQE ceiling in place for applicants
- Willingness to engage with clients on often sensitive issues
- Commercial driven
- Willingness to progress within the team
