COMMERCIAL PROPERTY SOLICITOR:
The accountabilities within this job description support the firms strategic framework, which includes being trusted advisors to their clients and colleagues, working to become recognised experts in their chosen specialisms and developing longstanding relationships with key clients. Primary responsibilities include an interest in renewables and natural resources, dealing with land owner development and diversification projects, manage client/matter files under supervision, ensure full compliance, provide expert legal advice to a range of clients including the negotiation and drafting of documentation, help develop new business from existing clients and other professionals and to commit to continued professional development in this specialist sector.
Your experience and skills must include having an understanding of the renewables, agricultural sector and an appreciation of the specific needs of this client group, landowners and landed estates. Have an appreciation of property law and co-ownership issues, have an interest in the more technical aspects of natural resources, renewables and agricultural law – e.g. CAP schemes, shooting leases, etc. The ability to act independently to a reasonably high level, but also to work with more experienced partners and fee earners on more complex and specialised matters, as required. Demonstrate solid organisation and time management skills, have proven drafting skills and attention to detail and possess sound problem-solving skills
