A global FTSE 100 software company are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel with c.6 - 8 years PQE to join their legal team in the U.S. with flexibility of which office location is preferred.
The ideal candidate will have experience gained in-house or in practice with a focus on regulatory law but with a specialism in trade regulation, in particular with knowledge of U.S. export and sanctions regulations.
This role is a senior appointment into an established team with management responsibility.
Our client offers the opportunity for strategic input and this person will be liaising closely with the business including the senior leadership team and board.
You will need strong working knowledge of trade compliance assurance and an investigative background. Experience working with staff at all levels including ELT, internal and external stakeholders and excellent leadership and individual/team development skills are essential.
