Deputy Company Secretary – 6+ years’ experience – top investment bank

New and exciting opportunity for a Company Secretary to work in the Company Secretariat of a well-known investment bank.

This role supports the regional Company Secretary function, including managing your own portfolio of UK subsidiaries. In this role you will act for a number of UK regulated entities and group committees, advise board directors on governance matters and ensure compliance as part of the FCA’s Certification regime.

The successful candidate will set agendas, take minutes and distribute relevant information to key stakeholders in a timely manner.  As a subject matter expert, you will provide support to the business and manage the implementation of corporate governance guidelines and regulatory requirements, as well as overseeing maintenance of relevant statutory books.

You will be a Chartered Governance professional with a minimum of five years of company secretarial experience with working knowledge of the UK Companies Act and UK Corporate Governance Code, as well as of the FCA’s of financial services companies’ governance. Demonstrated excellent minute taking and report writing abilities are essential.
