Our national law firm client is seeking an additional Construction Partner to help grow and manage their disputes offering in London.

 

The built environment, property and construction are absolutely central to this highly regarded firm. With six, dedicated mainstream construction partners across the UK, the team have developed an impressive reputation in both non-contentious and contentious work. For structural reasons and given increased workflows the partners are now seeking a construction disputes partner in London who is willing to take on an influential role within the team.

 

In terms of technical background, the team would like to speak to broad based construction disputes lawyers with experience of areas such as adjudication, mediation, arbitration, TCC and High Court Litigation. Clients cover the full range of the construction and engineering industry, both in the UK and internationally, and include developers, employers, investor and contractors in sectors such as Commercial Property, Transport, Energy and Retail.

 

Given existing workflows, an established “book” is less important to this team than a strong network and profile within the London market. In addition, you should have some experience of managing a team and a willingness to set the agenda for further developing the firm’s profile in the London market.

 

The firm overall has seen year-on-year increases in turnover and profit. It is considered to be a friendly and collegiate place to develop a career over the long term, and can boast strong retention across the partner group and also a realistic approach to new laterals as they bed in.
