ROLE: Business Crime & Regulatory Solicitor
PQE: 2+ years
LOCATION: Manchester
SALARY: Up to £80,000 (£DOE)
THE ROLE:
An exciting new opportunity has become available for an ambitious Criminal Solicitor to join a Top Tier Fraud Firm. The appointed Solicitor will be able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of criminal law, practises and procedures including PACE. You will have the ability to advise clients at Police Stations and be able to prepare cases at all levels of court. You will be able to undertake advocacy at all levels of court in connection with criminal cases. To act at all times in an appropriate way as a member of the legal profession and to comply with all professional requirements as set by the Law Society. You will have the opportunity to play an active and key role in the future direction of the firm, and in the development and growth of the Business Crime & Regulation team.
THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are sought-after from qualified Solicitors with around 2+ years PQE, you will also be Police Station accredited. Good knowledge of criminal law and the ability to understand and put into practise LCS Franchise requirement is essential to be successful in this role. Experience in Police misconduct matters would be advantageous. The appointed solicitor will manage their own criminal caseload. You will need excellent time management, communication and organisational skills, proficiency in IT and have a polite and patient manner.
