New - we are actively assisting a leading Legal 100 law firm who are seeking an experienced Banking & Finance Associate to join their growing finance team based in the Thames Valley. This firm are recognised for their modern approach and regularly attract praise for exceeding client expectations. We would like to speak with a commercially minded individual to add significant strength and depth to the existing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within one of the largest specialist banking & finance practices outside London within a team that is top-ranked in Chambers UK.

This fast-growing and dynamic team carry out a wide variety of work including: acquisition/leveraged finance, real estate finance, asset based lending, trade finance, venture debt and corporate cross-over debt products.

This is one of the few firms outside London who can comfortably manage high value club and syndicated finance transactions and the smaller value, bilateral deals. The team also have significant international reach, with well-established links across the world with tried and tested partner firms who frequently engage us on the English law aspects of banking and finance transactions. 

Experience should include some of the following: leveraged finance; real estate finance and invoice discounting but any general corporate finance exposure would also be an asset. If you are an existing senior corporate solicitor but maybe considering a transition into banking and finance, we would like to speak with you in strictest confidence. Regional ties to the Thames Valley are preferable. 

In return, you will be assisting on high-value and high-profile banking transactions for UK and International clients spanning a diverse range of exciting sectors from media, technology, retail to aviation.
