PRIVATE EQUITY FUNDS - AWARD-WINNING TEAM 1-4PQE x2

Having won the Funds Team of the Year at The Lawyer Awards for the last two years in a row, our client continues to expand their Funds team, hence great career track for the right individuals.

You will be given a high level of responsibility to handle fund raising and fund formation, co-investments, and asset management fund advice. You will be trusted with a high level of client contact and you will drive your career and development forward quickly within a supportive environment.

The core areas of our client's practice include:
Private Funds:

• fund formation and fundraising work (acting for General Partners and Managers) for private equity funds, as well as infrastructure and private debt funds.
• regularly advise on secondary transactions, an area of growth within the private equity funds space. Act for selling investors, buying investors and private equity funds and their managers on all aspects of secondary transactions from offer through to exchange and closing.

Closed-ended Listed Funds:

• work covers IPOs on the Premium Segment of the Main Market, the Specialist Fund Segment and the AIM Market, secondary issues, reorganisations and M&A.
• act for London-listed investment funds, their managers and their financial sponsors, and are market leaders in direct lending funds/listed alternative credit strategies.

Real Estate Funds:

• cover both real estate investment trusts (REITs) and private funds utilising limited partnership, unit trust and corporate structures. The real estate managers we advise invest globally.

Remuneration is almost in line with the Magic circle, however the culture is more friendly and the hours more reasonable at c.1700 per anum. The work is broad and cutting edge. Early responsibility will be granted in a supportive environment - you will be given the opportunity to lead some of the smaller deals.
