In-house Regulatory / Disputes Lawyer

Excellent opportunity for a regulatory, environmental, health & safety, competition, corporate crime, or disputes lawyer to join a FTSE 100 business based in the West Midlands.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an award-winning legal team who have joined the business from top UK firms and businesses. This is a new role for a lawyer to join the team and act as a business partner to the customer operational team where you will advise on a variety of regulatory, civil and criminal investigations, enforcements and disputes as well as providing strategic advice to the business.  The types of projects you might work on range from regulatory enforcements, environmental and health & safety investigations or disputes, corporate crime offences and civil disputes.

There are lots of interesting challenges from a legal perspective, good long-term prospects, the team enjoy a good work life balance and it is a really nice company to work for.

Because of the varied nature of the role, there is flexibility in terms of the experience that a potential candidate has – we are really looking for someone bright and personable who would enjoy a varied role and is keen to work in a business environment.  This position is really suited to someone who likes having an interactive role that is varied and hands on where you can learn about the operational aspects of the business.  A background in regulatory (environmental, health & safety, food or competition) or disputes would be beneficial.
