The Role
1+ PQE Non-con Restructuring & Insolvency Lawyer to join Band & Tier 1 team in Bristol Top 50.
Bristol's preeminent offering, the team is noted for the advice given to stakeholders on often cross-border, complex matters. Aligned to core sectors, much of the success derives from Clean Energy, Real Estate, Retail, Leisure, the Public sector and increasing headway in Pensions.
Given their stature, the unit works on matters that gain media attention, with some of the more recent high-profile restructuring matters in the news coming from their client roster.
Led by an industry stalwart, you'll aid in mentoring those more junior as part of the more comprehensive Tier 1 Banking and Finance team, whilst taking the reins on complex matters of distressed refinancings and corporate restructurings, distressed M&A, contingency planning and general insolvency.
A broad diet is encouraged with juniors, being platformed to establish niches as your practice matures.
The Requirements
- 1+ PQE in R&I. No PQE ceiling in place for applicants
- The ability to think creatively in response to problems with a fast-paced dynamic
- Ambition and drive in terms of increasing expertise and career progression
- Confidence in liaising with clients and nurturing existing partnerships
