Our client is a non-traditional advertising agency that does things differently. Fiercely proud of its independence and creative family (which includes a leading PR agency, a design agency, a creative agency and in-house production and film businesses), it has a global presence across Europe, North America and Asia and works with a selection of fantastic brands. The Legal & Production Affairs team is a close-knit team who work incredibly well together.

The General Counsel is looking to recruit an additional lawyer to support the business with the broad range of contractual and advertising queries that arise. No two days are the same and the legal team have the ear of the stakeholders by adopting a solutions-oriented approach to problem solving. "No" is never the answer!

The three main focus areas of the role are:

* Contracts between our client and third parties such as brands, talent and production partners, including production agreements, master services agreements, music licensing etc

* Advisory work, particularly around advertising: ideally, you will have familiarity with the CAP/BCAP Codes, Consumer Protection Regulations, data protection etc

* Looking after the company brands, IP and trade mark portfolio.

You will be a UK (or equivalent) lawyer with ideally 2-5 years' PQE (but we will consider individuals outside of this range with the right experience). You will have demonstrable experience of drafting and negotiating commercial contracts (particularly within the advertising / marketing sector) and a good working knowledge of IP and advertising law.
