Insurance and Commercial Litigation Associate - 2-6PQE

Pure Search are instructed by a leading multinational law firm looking to grow their Insurance Disputes practice with an insurance lawyer who is open to diversifying their experience across insurance, financial and commercial disputes.

Insurance is very much at the heart of the firm and this is an exciting opportunity to join an established practice where you will have huge scope to diversify and broaden your experience beyond purely insurance-related matters.

The team consists of over 50 lawyers, with clients including major international insurance businesses, global banks, funds, brokers and retail brands.

The Role:

Our client is currently looking to make several hires across their Insurance practice, advising on a mix of general insurance coverage, commercial disputes, regulatory litigation and financial services disputes.

The role will include exposure to:

• Coverage advice including D&O, Crime, Cyber Liability, Construction, Professional Indemnity and Employer's Liability;
• Advising insurers and financial institutions on a range of commercial litigations and arbitrations;
• Advising commercial policyholders on a range of contentious insurance matters;
• Representing financial institutions in respect of regulatory investigations and FCA/PRA regulatory issues.

About You:

You will have:

• A minimum of 2 years post-qualification insurance experience at a leading UK or international law firm. Our client would consider candidates from both London and leading regional practices;
• A firm interest in international work, ideally with some experience of coverage disputes on an international scale;
• A consistently strong academic record;
• A can-do attitude and an interest in taking a leading role in supervision of junior members of the team and business development.
