Non-Contentious Construction Lawyer - 6 month FTC

Our client is a notable international law firm, looking to secure a non-contentious construction lawyer with upwards of 5 years' PQE for a contract of 6 months. The team have ambitious growth plans and this contractor will play a significant part in these. This contract is to start imminently, therefore candidates should ideally be available immediately or at short notice.

The successful candidate will be involved in advising on a full range of matters that can arise in a development project - covering design, tendering and bidding, financing, advice on live projects and after completion. They can expect to advise high profile, blue chip clients including contractors, developers and consultants on projects involving commercial development, residential projects and hotel and leisure schemes. The team also act for borrowers and lenders on the construction aspects of real estate finance transactions.

Whilst the team primarily acts on UK based projects, there could be scope to advise on international projects.

The successful individual will become part of the close-knit team for the duration of their contract and can expect to work closely with leading Partners in the field.

The firm operates on a hybrid working basis, spending 2-3 days a week in the London office, with the remainder from home.

Successful candidates are likely to be qualified lawyers in England & Wales or another commonwealth jurisdiction (such as New Zealand or Australia, for example) and possess upwards of 5 years' PQE in handling notable non-contentious construction matters from leading international, city or top tier regional firms.
