Delighted to be working with a well-established, nationwide Housebuilder based in Northamptonshire, to find a Development Solicitor (NQ-3+ PQE) to join their legal team and take on an array of Property work. The successful Solicitor will be joining a collaborative legal team, helping the team to achieve success in the business’ day to day activities and ongoing growth plan. If you come from more of a Commercial Property/Development background, and your experience of Residential Property/Development is limited, the client is happy to grant the successful candidatethe opportunity to learn on the job - aslong as you can adapt quickly to the new challenge in order to make a positive impact to the legal team.

Based in modern offices in Northamptonshire, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to expand on their legal experience whilst liaising with different teams throughout the business. Duties and responsibilities of the In-House Development Solicitor (NQ-3+ PQE):

• Acquisition of sites for development
• Liaising with the nhbc and/or a third party providers for the provision of a bondsman in the completion of statutory utility agreements together with obtaining execution of the appropriate documentation.
• To keep the Sales Business Management Scheme Global Documents used by the Conveyancing team under constant review and help to manage, amend and update the Global Documents
• Dealing with the release of bonds under statutory utility agreements;
• Dealing or assisting with affordable housing sales by completing all necessary legal agreements on commercially acceptable terms, in a timely manner
• Collating/reporting on search responses, preparing sdlt returns and land registry applications
