Job Details

Company

My client is a multinational real estate company with investments in the UK and Far East. The company has invested in over 70 projects across 10 cities, including London, Manchester, Tokyo and Shanghai, and total project value is in excess of $1 Billion (US).

In the UK, the company is growing its portfolio of residential properties, and thus far over 1000 (new-build and second-hand) leasehold residential properties in Greater Manchester have been acquired.

Company investments include whole buildings (20-30 units) or individual properties acquired via auctions, estate agents and developers. The company typically recycles investments by buying, developing and selling properties however they do also acquire for rental before sell on, or on behalf of property investors.

Role: In-house Residential Conveyancer

To support its operations in the UK, my client seeks to recruit a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor / Licensed Conveyancer with experience that includes new build and bulk deals, as well as single pre-owned properties. The new hire should be comfortable dealing with ad hoc queries, be able to think strategically and be able to transact property transactions, and navigate the residential property conveyancing process.

Working closely with internal stakeholders to purchase properties, you will also work with, instruct and manage the external solicitors handling the sale of properties.

This is an interesting and unique opportunity to work as a In-house Residential Conveyancer in a fast-growing and well backed property company.

About you

My client anticipates that the In-house Residential Conveyancer will have at least 4 years' experience handling residential conveyancing files, ideally with experience of leasehold properties.

You should be capable of managing an increasing caseload, with external support, as the company expands its operations over the coming years.

You will ideally be based near Manchester and work from the firms city centre office on a hybrid basis (3 days office / 2 home).
