Job Details
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious commercial lawyer to join a FTSE 100 company. Reporting to the Legal Director, you will support a central legal function working on multi-jurisdictional commercial contracts with key suppliers and customers. You will advise on a diverse range of commercial contracts and legal issues, drafting and negotiating contracts to a conclusion; help to evaluate risks, ensuring seamless support from external advisors and being a key contact point for all internal workstreams; have the ability to build strong relationships with senior management across the business to provide pragmatic solutions to legal issues.
To be successful in this role, you must have a strong academic and professional background. You will have gained significant and demonstrable commercial contracts experience (3+ years). You will have the ability to work autonomously, think strategically and creatively and communicate clearly and precisely. You must be enthusiastic, proactive, enjoy working hard and being challenged, and demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations. You will be able to build strong relationships with the senior management teams, becoming a trusted adviser.
