Energy/Oil & Gas Associate - US Firm, Singapore

Exciting opportunity for an English law qualified associate with a solid foundation in corporate/project agreements and relevant experience working with a top tier international practice, to join the Singapore office of this elite US law firm. 

While knowledge of basic oil and gas agreements would be distinctly advantageous, the successful candidate must have the ability to work autonomously, communicate effectively and be willing to travel extensively around South East Asia as part of his/her remit (as and when able).  Creative, flexible with an entrepreneurial approach, you will have attained approximately 4-6yrs PQE in addition to possessing a superb academic pedigree. 

While associates in the Singapore office regularly work on a variety of matters with different partners, this role will see the incumbent work primarily with the firms lead Energy Partner, a highly regarded individual with a huge reputation for energy sector transactions across the Asia-Pacific region. Working closely with him, you will benefit from hands on mentoring and the opportunity to take on increased responsibility for deals / clients.

The financial package is benchmarked at the very top of current US rates (Cravath scale) while career progression is very much on the cards for those with the necessary drive & ability.
