JOB TITLE: Procurement Lawyer

A highly rated law firm in Cambridge is keen to appoint a Procurement Solicitor into their expanding and growing department. As the newly appointed Procurement Solicitor you will be responsible for your own caseload of files and be providing advice to clients on public procurement matters to a diverse client base including NHS Bodies, education institutions, charities and national agencies as well as local government. The role will be varied and challenging and will involve drafting and advising on procurement documentation and challenges to procurement decisions. Dependent on experience level, supervision of more junior lawyers of the team will also be included in responsibilities.

In order to be considered for the role of Procurement Lawyer you will have a minimum of 2 years PQE and a passion for procurement law. Ideal Procurement Lawyers will have gained some exposure to dealing with a variety of public procurement law matters and possess the ability to support on business development activities and dependent on level of experience supervising junior members of the team. If you have proven technical experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts with a focus on public sector outsourcing and projects.
