Senior Insolvency Lawyer (Hong Kong)
The Hong Kong Corporate Restructuring & Insolvency team at this premier offshore law firm provides expert legal advice on the laws of the BVI and Cayman Islands, acting for distressed debtors, institutional lenders or investors, liquidators or other court appointed officers to advise on capital and corporate restructurings, examinerships and receiverships, distressed investments, rehabilitations and contentious and non-contentious insolvency proceedings.
Of particular interest at this time is a senior insolvency lawyer (Snr Associate / Of Counsel and potentially Partner) with significant debt restructuring experience, ideally with exposure to acting for Chinese / Asian clients. Fluent Chinese (read/write/speak) would be ideal, but not absolutely necessary for the right candidate, while it is expected that the successful applicant will have general expertise with regards insolvency and commercial litigation matters.
Offering a wide range of interesting matters with access to & responsibility for a significant pipeline of work coming into their Hong Kong office, this opportunity would suit a motivated lawyer looking to join a supportive platform from which to develop a long-term career in Asia. A very attractive remuneration package is offered + relocation.
