Legal Counsel

Opportunity for a versatile Legal Counsel to join a global lighting equipment company that services the premier television and film industry.

They are looking for someone with a strong commercial background to lead and develop their UK legal function, based out of their Slough office.

The role:

This role would be suitable for an existing Legal Counsel with international experience, or a Commercial Solicitor with at least 4+ years PQE who is looking to move in-house, based out of Slough.

As Legal Counsel, you will provide commercially focused legal advice on a variety of legal areas and be instrumental in the drafting and negotiation of a wide range of business-to-business commercial agreements to facilitate the provision of equipment rental and studio management and development.

They are looking for someone with a solid commercial background as you will be providing advice on matters relating to commercial contracts, compliance, data governance, employment and property.

You will report to the Group Head of Legal & VP of Business Affairs, but this is a stand-alone role as Legal Counsel, so it's essential that you're able to work with a high level of responsibility and autonomy.

The ideal candidate:

· Commercial Solicitor with at least 5+ years PQE or;
· An experienced Legal Counsel that has worked within a major corporation/brand
· Excellent technical knowledge and skills in a broad range of commercial matters
