IT and services management company seeks to recruit an experienced Legal Counsel to support a small legal team on a variety of commercial and IT contracts.

Our client’s preference is to recruit under a fixed term contract but is also open to a consultant on a daily rate or part time role. This position may become permanent.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Draft and negotiate a wide range of complex commercial matters including, framework agreements with the public sector
  • Draft and negotiate on a variety of IT matters such as; MSAs, licensing, distribution, SLAs, consulting, staffing and outsourcing
  • Support a small legal team
  • Advise the business on risk management
  • Deal with general legal work such as; Employment law, disputes, corporate and involvement in M&A activities

 

We are looking for:

  • Qualified solicitor in England and Wales with a PQE of 2-5*
  • Proven experience in drafting and negotiating a variety of often complex commercial contracts
  • Experience in drafting IT agreements such as; Licensing, distribution and outsourcing
  • Committed, driven and able to work autonomously as well as part of a team
  • Strong interpersonal skills and able to work at a strategic level
